Edwin Rostron is an artist based in London. He studied at Sheffield Hallam University and at the Royal College of Art. He has been making animations for over 20 years and his work has shown in many international exhibitions and film festivals including Ann Arbor Film Festival, GLAS, and Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation. In 2013 he founded Edge of Frame, a blog and programme of screening events focusing on experimental animation. Edge of Frame events have showcased a diverse range of contemporary and historical experimental animation at venues such as BFI Southbank, Barbican and Whitechapel Gallery, and at festivals such as LIAF and Flatpack. He is a tutor at the Royal College of Art and has been a visiting artist at CalArts and at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
